The International Church Praise Chapel, Ministry « Go get them » totals on May 29 its 30 years of existence. The church founded by Bishop Paul Nya launched Thursday in Lome the celebration festivities that cover the week of May 23-29. Several activities are on the program of the celebration, with the participation of great men of God from Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon and USA.
The 30th anniversary celebration of Praise Chapel is placed under the theme: “Divine Acceleration”. Among the activities, a great spiritual awakening is planned each evening from May 23 to 27 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.). There is also a major seminar for pastors and others called of God on the theme: “The preparation of workers for a lasting ministry”. A big concert is announced for Saturday May 28 in the church grounds in Lomé.
The apotheosis of the celebration will be marked on May 29 by a great service of thanksgiving.
Several men of God are announced on these different activities. Among them, Apostle Randy and Pastor Gayle Brown (USA), Apostle Mawuena DRAH (Togo), Bishop Floribert Mawit (Cameroon), Archbishop John Praise Daniel (Nigeria). The hosts are Bishop Paul and Reverend Blessing NYA (Togo).
Pastor David Ekene (Nigeria), Pastor Emmanuel OJ (Togo), Praise Voice (Togo) and other gospel artists are also announced.
Praise Chapel Church started in Lome
The Praise Chapel Church started 30 years ago in Lomé to take over from the international ministry “Go get them” which began in 1990. God having called Paul and Blessing Nya to save souls for him. The pastoral couple organized several crusades from place to place to search for the lost sheep of God according to the word of God written in Deuteronomy 30:4-5 and Matthew 28:19.
Bishop Paul Nya announces taht the celebration of 30 years of Praise Chapel are also the celebration of faithfulness, support and of God.
“We started with several other churches that couldn’t stand the test of time…We celebrate obedience because we had to obey God by leaving everything we had in Nigeria. We also celebrate the sacrifice of our lives, to have given up everything for the cause of God’s call. We also celebrate the impact the Lord has used us to make in Togo, Benin, the United States and all over the world,” the founder of Praise Chapel told reporters in Lome on Thursday.
Therefore Bishop Paul Nya lets go of a secret to have a sustainable ministry: you have to have the call of God, have a clear vision, stay focused, have faith, seek God’s grace and pray a lot.
In 30 years of existence, the church has a Bible School called « Mount Horeb », a Bible University, a primary school.
Praise Chapel has also organized several programs for women, for children. The church plans to build a hospital, a training center for vocational rehabilitation
“God has used this ministry to touch thousands of people everywhere, to touch homes in Togo, to mentor young people who want to enter marriage,” added Blessing Nya.
Bishop Nya indicates that the 30 years of existence of the church represents for us a beginning in the work of God. He announces that the ministry will go into another dimension. In this perspective, he wishes to win even more souls for the kingdom of God. He then raises church planting projects in Abidjan and Nigeria.
Praise Chapel currently has 12 churches in Togo and 3 in Benin.
